me. i used to work at a grocery store and it was my job to unpack and restock shelves. however, one day, we ran out of goods from the storage so i had to go to the warehouse to grab the boxes to restock at the storage. however, my manager stopped me and told me to leave it to the male employees to do it as i “looked” frail and unable to carry the boxes.

b. How did you and others respond?

I was upset as I could clearly carry the boxes but the manager told me it was a guy’s job.

c. What action could you take to change the situation?

maybe prove to the manager that i am as capable as the men in the workplace and if i’m unable to lift certain objects i will ask for help.

d. What do you think is likely to happen if you take this course of action? 

i’m not really sure but i feel that standing up for not just myself, but the other women in the workplace would be good

e. What is #me too? Have you participated in it? How? Why not? Elaborate anyway.

It is a social movement against sexual abuse and harassment, people propagating allegations of sexual crimes. The purpose of "Me Too" is to empower sexually assaulted people, especially young and vulnerable women, through empathy and solidarity through strength in numbers, by visibly demonstrating how many people survive sexual assault and harassment, especially in the workplace. 
China
I have not been involved in a similar campaign because holding a parade may be illegal. Women in my country have been courageous in recent years to speak out about sexual harassment and seek help promptly at the first sign of harassment by recording a video or calling the police immediately.
Singapore
I have not participated in this as I don’t think it is very largely encouraged in Singapore.

3.The positive effect is that The Internet can promote the idea of gender equality and let people know
the negative effect is that No matter the communicators of traditional media or the users of new media, their conscious awareness and initiative to change the situation of discourse inequality cannot be achieved overnight.  Discourse inequality will continue for a long time.  

Women need to learn to say no.

Positive: it brings awareness that gender does not define what a person does. And it would influence people’s perspectives on gender stereotypes.

Negative: not everyone would agree with the media, and the media can be inaccurate at times with biases.

By challenging traditional social and cultural norms and attitudes regarding gender perceptions both in content and in the media houses. By showing women in leadership roles and as experts on a diversity of topics on a daily basis, not as an exception.
