And the world would be dried out and empty. You wouldn't have water to water your plants. If we didn't have water all living  would die. Water is a large component of all living cells, animals, plants and thus they would all be completely destroyed.The sky without its water content and with a high oxygen content may even change color with a reddish tint. Knowing how much hydrogen had disappeared from the oceans over the last four billion years enabled the researchers to calculate that the oceans have lost about a quarter of their water since the Earth's early days. Hydrogen and deuterium are still escaping into space, but very slowly.
