British Columbia, a province located in the far west of Canada, is defined by its Pacific coast and mountains.

British cuisine has a strong presence of corn in addition to other foods such as potatoes. A common fruit in the country's dishes is the avocado. Typical dishes also have a greater amount of spices, but not as much as in Indian and Mexican cuisines, for example. Cassava is also present in several dishes.
.
The Canadian is a traditional meal held between 17:00h and 18:30h, usually eating the main meal and after dinner before the meal or dessert dessert

Either way, a base is usually baked, boiled or fried potatoes — if you like that food, you'll love eating it in Canada. Various vegetables and greens are also on the menu, including carrots, asparagus, broccoli, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, cabbage and celery.

Typical Canadian dishes are:

Metacarcinus magister:, known by the common name of pacific crab, is a species of crab that measures between 20 and 25 cm and weighs around 1 kg.

British Columbia Wine:
British Columbia wine is a Canadian wine produced in the province of British Columbia. Wines made from 100% British Columbia grapes may qualify for classification under one of British Columbia's two classification systems, depending on the variety, the winemaking techniques employed and various other restrictions.

Nanaimo bars:
The Nanaimo bar is a dessert that does not require cooking and is named after the town of Nanaimo, British Columbia. It consists of three layers: a base of wafer, walnut and coconut kernels; cream topping in the middle; and a layer of chocolate ganache on top.

Hi, good morning! I’m Alyka, and i will talk a little about the a Pea Soup. The Pea soup or Soupe Aux Pois is a traditional dish in Quebec cuisine. And too it is very popular all over Canada. Is a soup that basically consists of yellow dried peas. Sources say this could be the biggest export that Canada has given to the world. Plus it’s a great way to warm up in the Canadian cold with a bowl of hot, thick pea soup.
