Transition checklist query

The transition checklist into the 2027 course structure states that (for example) "If completed PLAN1001 but not PLAN2005, they must complete PLAN2005 by Semester 1, 2027."

Does this mean that PLAN2005 would have to be completed before Sem 1 2027 commences, or by the end of Sem 1 2027.

The new program does not have/ barely have any electives, does that means that we would lose out on potential exchange opportuinities by transiting into the new program?

Procedure for international students to enrol in the new course structure

If an international student wishes to switch to the new course structure so they can graduate a year early, do they apply for a new CoE to update their graduation date first, or do they submit a Program Change request through SI-net first?

Our academic advisor's appointment time slots are fully booked out (the next available time slot isn't indicated). If I know my study plan is the same as someone who has already finished an appointment, can I directly submit the transition checklist, the study plan, and the Program Change request?

I enrolled in the Bachelor of Urban Planning in 2026, so I'm already in the second semester of the first year of studies. I would have to drop one of the current courses I'm taking to take a new course that transfers into equivalent units. Therefore, I would like to know if there is a faster way to ensure I can be switched to the new course structure, so that I wouldn't have to make up for too much missed content.

If we did an elective (1st or 2nd year), can that count towards the new format or not?

Good morning, I am having trouble trying to understand the steps of changing into the new course. I've already changed from PLAN1100 to GEOG2104. How do I do steps 1-5, such as completing the relevant transition checklist, and then using it to develop my proposed study plan?

If I enrolled in BRTP SEM 1 2025,

Do the the transfer to BURP (with checklist req. Met) to finish studying in 3.5 years,

Can I still do a semester abroad in year 4 sem 1 and graduate on time?

I just attended on 10 Aug session. However, I missed the last day to enrol on the course. If any chance I can change PLAN 1100 to GEOG2104 by any chance in this semester?

Or can I have any choice to enrol on a course during the summer semester (I noticed that there aren't many courses available during the summer semester)?

Where can we find the recording of the changes? I'm in the Grad Cert Urban Planning and can't find an equivelant Padlet. Woul dbe great to know the key reasons for the change, in terms of career prospects, contemporary skills. Is it to do with PIA registration?
