         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Target audience: </strong>population above 35 years of age with risk factors such as family history of obesity/hypertension/diabetes; people consuming alcohol; exposed to risks such as stress, poor diet, poor quality and quantity of sleep, etc.</p><p><strong>Level of prevention: </strong>primordial prevention measures include improvement in the social determinants of health; primary prevention measures include modification of lifestyle factors which as causing potential risks of CVDs; secondary prevention measures such as health screenings at regular intervals; tertiary preventive measures include managing lifestyle after the treatment of the clinical conditions. </p><p><strong>Impact: </strong>Screening will help in early detection of the risk factors, hence help the individuals to treat the conditions early enough to prevent long-term damage. It will eventually help in cost reduction and reduction of the burden of disease in the community. </p><p><strong>Multichannel approach to reach the target audience: </strong>Awareness campaigns can be organised by the local authorities where screening can be done as well as awareness regarding symptoms and prevention can be provided to the population. Social media, mass media campaigns can also be used. </p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>]]></description>
