We can catch good fish that we can eat in Lake St. Clair.

We liked the first book!

*Reminds me about the stories of my ancestors.

*Frustrated because it is not fair.

*Angry, mad and sad because people are the same on the inside.

*Sad at the beginning because they wouldn’t let brown people in school.

*Happy because the brown people were able to go to the same school.  They used their rights.  They fought for justice.

*Excited at the end because they went to the same school and made friends.

We also have the Great American Ball Park. This is where the Cincinnati Reds play. It is on the Ohio River. 

Another fun place is the Cincinnati Museum Center. It used to be a train station. 

Our city is located along the Ohio River. You can go boating and fishing in the Ohio River. You can also see a lot of animals in and near the river such as fish, deer, ducks and other types of birds, frogs, otters, squirrels, and turtles. 

Kings Island is a large amusement park near Cincinnati. There are big rides such as the Diamond Back and the Orion roller coasters, Drop Zone, and Monster House. And there is also a gigantic water park there as well. 

Cincinnati is very hilly and we have many beautiful parks. There are playgrounds at the parks, fields to play in, and good views of the hills and the Ohio and Little Miami River. Some of the most popular parks are Ault Park, Alms Park, Smale Park, and Summit Park.

What are the special activities you like to do, foods you like to eat, or games you like to play?

We like to play softball, basketball, soccer, kick ball, football, golf, baseball, and swimming. 

We eat Cincinnati style chili. It is a layered dish starting with spaghetti then chili, beans, onions, and cheese. 

At recess we like to play tag, freeze tag, basketball, we make up games such as Mermaids and Grabber, spies, soccer, football, hide and seek, 4 square, we race one another, we slide on the slide, we slide down the fire pole, and we swing on the tire swing and swings.
