Actual Writing- Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Student Friendly- It gives the people freedom to says what they want, practice religion, to publish what they want, to protest, and petition without getting in trouble by the law.
How it changed our country- It changed our country because it gave the people the right to speak, practice religion, to publish, and to petition without getting in trouble.
Example-Scheneck VS.United States
Scheneck reportedly said "Fire" in a theater when there wasn't one. This is not protected by the amendment because it put someones life at risk. It would be protected if he didn't put anyone life at risk.

Actual writing- A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
Student friendly- It allows the people of America to have guns so they can protect themselves or their state.
How it changed our country- It changed it so now the people can protect themselves from a bad person or their state if something goes down.
Example- Presser vs People of Illinois. Herman Presser was found guilty of parading a group of armed men without authorization in the state of Illinois. This is not protect by the law because even though the bill of rights states that you can have guns the states also have different laws that might protein to what you can do with the guns.
