Relevant text evidence connects the quote to the thesis statement and adequate text evidence means the text evidence suitably supports the claim but can always be improved. </p>]]></description>

Meanwhile, "adequate" suggests that it's okay. </p><p><br></p><p>If your text evidence is relevant it means it works well. But if your evidence is adequate it means it relates but doesn't really fit.</p>]]></description>
