Students are so dependent on teacher in school that they never truly learn how to be independent so when they get out of school it is rare for a student to be independent. The schooling system is leading to more cases of depression and anxiety and when you have depression all of your thoughts merge into nothing and you don't have any original ideas that aren't negative. When you have depression all of your emotions are shot and you feel numb all the time. It is hopeless. It is an endless feeling of being alone and feeling like nothing will ever end your suffering. Depression takes away your love for things that you do in life, it takes away your ability to be engaged in the things you do, it takes away your happiness until you are left with nothing. Everything that you once had is now gone and there was no way to stop it, you could only watch it happen. You watch you lose yourself over and over until you are so far gone that you can't be lost anymore. Then all you want is for it to stop. You want everything to stop.
