Completed during beginning of the year PLD - it was great to do although in some ways it felt simple. It reinforced the idea that it is almost never okay to restrain a child unless they are in danger of hurting themselves or another person.

Team Kereru spent a great deal of time discussing this document and how we wanted our professional relationships to work. We considered it vital to a safe working environment. We also wanted to avoid situations of disagreement escalating - especially wanting to encourage any problems between team members being sorted out between them as a first step and not taken further unless professional agreement cannot be reached.
