Using LeanLibrary Workspace as an organizational tool helps with research and citations for whatever Academic Research paper you decide to use.

You can use a loosely structured annotated bib format with a link to the source (and maybe its citation) as well as brief description of what the source talks about. Then pull quote or pieces that you might want to use in your paper. This helps keep ideas straight and make sue you have a variety of sources and that don't all say the exact same thing.

We use a google docs and then put in the links of the articles/sources that we found. Then get rid of any links from articles/sources that we decide won't be useful to our own paper.

One of our challenges we face is remembering what sites we used and being able to keep track of them when they start to pile up. We also had trouble figuring if a author is credible or not.

When keeping track of research sources our group said that we have some trouble navigating the UC Davis online library and remembering to make sure that our sources have to be peer-reviewed. Keeping track of research sources when it comes to the association they have with our keywords can also be a bit difficult. We use Google docs as our main organization tool. One of us uses notebookLM as it has AI integrated within which organizes the material for you.

During research, messy tabs, pdfs, and links often begin to crowd the workspace into an unproductive mess. However, citation managers like Lean Library can come in handy, effectively allowing you to form a digital mini library of your own to reference. For iPad users like me, a more primitive form of organization like listing citations on a google doc can work as well. The databases connected with UC Davis’s library pre make citations for you so this process becomes much easier.
