It also stated the state of war, referenced by John Locke, saying that the invasion of a person’s liberties was enough to strike a state of war to protect their natural rights along with themselves.

A People’s History of the United States: Zinn just made this whole fight a cause to make the lower class help out the war without noticing the higher class was already “superior” to them in america. It read like they  just wanted to focus the unfairness on Britain and ignore it within the US.
