The village was settled around 1860 and was used primarily by those who were brought in to help harvest the cranberries.&nbsp;<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Monmouth Battlefield State Park is located at 20 State Route 33 in Manalapan, NJ. In 1778, Washington fought the British in a very hot and tiring day long battle. In the end, over 600 people were dead or dying.&nbsp;<br><br>This park often offers re-enactments, but due to Covid have been called off for now. </div>]]></description>
