Hello 6th graders of Heatherwood Middle School. Most of you might be thinking why would I run? Well I want to run for ASB, because I've always been interested in helping others, and community service. I also hate watching other people struggle knowing I can help, and make a difference. I plan to help set funner fundraisers. We could create more interactive fundraisers such as making stuffed bears, learning how to crochet or stitch, or even learning how to make pizza. Another idea is there aren't really many dances for 6th graders. Personally I'd want more dances so I promise to bring that up to the ASB board. Lastly there are the staircases; they are extremely crowded, and hard to get by without getting crushed. I will definitely bring this up, and help solve this problem, because nobody wants a kid at the bottom of the staircase with a broken femur. I plan to work with others on these projects, and compromise my ideas, and therefore help Heatherwood Middle School be an even greater Middle School than it already is!

Hey, why am I running for 6th grade vice president? I don't know, just joking. I am running for 6th grade vice president because I am an understanding leader. I am very creative, I can be funny but also serious. I want to be 6th grade vice president because this sounds like an amazing chance to help out others and make people want to be kind, responsible students. Another reason why I want to be 6th grade vice president is because it will help me become a better leader. Hello! I am running for vice president! Why, you may ask?
I am running for vice president because I care about school. You don’t know who I am (yet), but I’m running for 6th grade Vice President, and I promise I’m a real person, not a freaking raccoon in a hoodie.
Now, I can’t offer a school pet llama (I tried), chocolate milk fountains, or turn the cafeteria into a trampoline park. Teachers told me those ideas are “not realistic” and “against safety policies.” But what I can offer is effort and good ideas.
I believe school should be fun, fair, and full of opportunities for everyone. Want more spirit days? I got you. Want more chances to share your ideas? Boom, how about anonymous suggestion boxes around school? I might not be famous, but I care about making Heatherwood better for the students and teachers. You should also know that I’m running because I believe in this school and the people in it. (still no pet llama)
So when you vote you should go with your gut. Pick the person who wants to make real change, without fake promises.

Hi, I am running for 6th Grade Vice President. I have been a leader at past schools and was once President! I want to be Vice President because
I want everyone to feel supported and like they belong.
I would like to have a 6th grade dance or dances. And a food drive so people in the community who can’t get a meal will have a little bit of help. But most importantly I want 6th graders to have a year full of accomplishment. So I want to put in place the changes that 6th graders want. The ASB can only change so much, but I will work to do what I can. I am a good listener and want to know everyone's opinion. This helps me work with others. and I offer to help because I want everyone to achieve their goals. Seeing everyone succeed makes me filled with joy.

Hi my fellow 6th grade peers! I’m trilled to be running for the vice president role this year. I would be honored to be your vice president because I enjoy public speaking, working with others and sharing my ideas. I have always wanted to take on a leadership role in school and I am excited for this opportunity.

As your vice president, I would reach out to our student body to see what changes or ideas they have regarding our school. I truly believe together, we can make our school an even better place.

Qualities that would make me a good leader are that I have a strong work ethic, and I always put in 110% in whatever I do. I take pride in my ability to work well with others and always listen to their opinions and concerns. I am honest and kind and I will always strive to do my best.

As a leader in ASB, I would make sure to include everyone and that their ideas and points of views are heard.

I`m running for ASB Vice President, not just because I'm strong in leadership, but because I want to make sure your voices are heard, and push changes that matter to students. Whether it's helping with assemblies, or spirit days, I got your back.

Being Vice President isn't about having a title, it's about taking action to help the school. I ´ m ready to put in the time and effort to serve you, and support our school in every way I can. Together, we can make this year the most memorable of all.

Hello Heatherwood Hawks! I am running for 6th grade vice president. I am running for vice president because I want to make sure everyone will be able to make a difference. And whenever students are heard, that can also contribute to the whole community. Some ideas I have for this school, is for one, I want to help make money by holding a lot of fundraisers. Fundraisers can help the school by being able to get better equipment for PE and for the Lunch breaks that we have. And those are just some of the ideas I have for the 2025/2026 year. I also plan to get better equipment for the Performing arts (Choir, Orchestra, and Band), for example better music stands. Something else I plan to do, is to have more spirit days/weeks. This school is so awesome, but some days we just need to show our spirit. I am pretty sure I have what it takes to lead this school because I am the type of person who can go with the flow. I am a student here at Heatherwood in 6th Grade and running for 6th Grade Vice President. There are thousands of reasons why I want to join ASB and run for vice president. I enjoy helping people and 100% agree that everyone should have second chances. Everyone makes mistakes in life and it never gets easier but that's why you just gotta stand back up again. I want to make Heatherwood Middle School the BEST Middle School and for everyone to have the greatest time here as Hawks. I am super creative and I'll make the fundraisers and other Spirit and Hawk days feel the best and make Heatherwood more fun. I am running for ASB 6th Grade Vice President. I want this position because I care about our school and about making sure every student’s voice is heard.
If I am elected, I will work hard to build more school spirit and help everyone feel included. One idea I have is to share weekly motivational quotes during announcements to start the day with a positive message. I would also like to create a suggestion box where students can share their ideas with ASB, so everyone has a chance to be part of the decisions. Another idea is to start “student shout-outs” to recognize kindness, teamwork, and helping others. These could be announced weekly or posted on a bulletin board. I also want to organize more fun spirit days, like Crazy Sock Day or Pajama Day, so we can all celebrate being Hawks together.
I believe I am ready for this role because of my leadership experience in taekwondo, rowing, and robotics. These roles taught me how to listen, communicate, and put others first.
As your Vice President, I will lead with kindness, listen to your ideas, and help make this year amazing!

I wish to run for 6th grade vice president because I feel confident in my leadership skills, and I would really enjoy being a representative for all of 6th grade. Some people cannot stand up for themselves, and others feel like they do not belong in this community. I am confident I can change this.

Some qualities and skills I can bring to the role are my leadership skills. I love leading others to success, while not being excessively controlling. Another strength I bring to this role is teamwork. I have always loved working and communicating with others. I have the ability to listen to others and all of their ideas.

I plan to help others by being their voice. I plan to work respectfully with the ASB team. I am excited to help others and stand up for others. What I plan to work on is more recognition for all students, no matter their cultural background. One of my many ideas is to have a cultural night to encourage students to learn about other cultures and make new friends.
