         <description><![CDATA[<div>CHINA- &nbsp;</div><div>State Sports Commission followed up with its “Notice on Severely Prohibiting Illegal Substances” which emphasised a tripartite anti-doping policy of “strict prohibition, strict examination, and strict punishment." (D.L. Yang, A. Leaung, 2008)&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</div><div>China began to build drug-testing facilities that met the standards set forth by the International Olympic Committee. &nbsp;</div><div>The percentage of positive tests suggests that doping had become entrenched in Chinese sports at that time.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</div><div>China have undertaken a range of measures to prevent a recurrence of such national embarrassments. First phase As the children start participating in athletics, the most suitable event for each individual is assessed, <br>2. Second phase or adolescent stage As event performance improves, there is a need for re-evaluation of potential. <br>3. Advanced phase Selection is now made of middle- to high level athletes, according to training performances, physique and skill level.
