Schrodinger was born in Vienna, Austria and was awarded the Nobel Prize for his discoveries. <br>JAMES CHADWICK: Chadwick discovered the existence of the nucleus in the center of the atom. He was born in the United Kingdom and worked at Liverpool University. <br>MARIE AND PIERRE CURIE: The pair discovered two important elements, Plutonium(Pu) and Radium(Ra), both of which are radioactive. Marie Curie was Polish but later moved to France to work in science.
