The spaces should:
  1. Allow for talking (and perhaps other comforts like allowing food and drink or even providing a nearby resource to purchase or warm food, etc.)
  2. Facilitate internet access
  3. Provide electrical outlets and appropriate lighting
  4. Protection from the elements (rain, etc.)
  5. Be often open 
  6. Have available seating often–or potential to reserve seating
  7. Be near open restrooms.

Once you identify those collaborative spaces you need to:
  1. Take a group photo there (if possible)
  2. Describe how that space is useful for collaborative writing
  3. Describe any pros and cons about the space

Cons: it's only for writing help won't get help in arithmetic subjects, they don't have snaks or coffee  yet!
Peets ccoffee- pros:option of getting food, you can meet with people to talk about assignments, ac access. Cons: it closes early, it can be too loud, might not have space for everyone.
Library- tutoring available, computer access, printer access. Cons: can be far awar from dorms, no food access.
