This week I learned about a parts of the brain. I also learn about multiple intelligence. I learned about how to play scoot too. The four major parts of the brain is the Temporal Lobe, Parietal Lobe, Occipital Lobe and the Frontal Lobe. The Temporal Lobe control memories, the Parietal Lobe controls hearing, the Occipital Lobe controls our sight, and the Frontal Lobe controls our feelings. Scoot is a math game where we move around answering questions in a time limit. Whoever answers most questions correctly wins the game. This scoot game was about multiplying fractions. I got 22/24, the highest score was 23/24. I felt satisfied about my score. This is the end of my day 1# Entry Journal.

Today I learned about multiple intelligence. My Multiple Intelligence is Intrapersonal. Intrapersonal is about being individual and Intrapersonal people like reading and writing. I had to research about that. We did a presentation and watched other MI presentations. There were Visual, Naturalistic, Linguistic, Interpersonal, Intrapersonal (me), Musical, Logical, and Kinesthetic. Visual are people who learn be looking and enjoy movies. Linguistic people like words and are the walking dictionary. Interpersonal likes people and like group work. Musical are people who learn by hearing and enjoy singing and dancing. Logical people are people who like math. Kinesthetic people are people who move around a lot. This is the end of my day 2# Entry Journal.

Last week we learned about our learning styles. I just discovered I am tactile not visual. Tactile people are people who learn by moving, visual people are people who learn by looking and auditory learners are people who learn by listening. We also did scoot on Fri-pad day. I learn more about the brain like the brain stem controls us while we have tantrums. We also learn more about learning styles. We also had to answer our own question. I learned about other facts from other people questions and answers. I learned that the brain stem is physically the most important part of the brain but the cerebellum is mentally the most important part of the brain. I also learned that you can train your brain to do crazy stuff like making yourself hot and stopping some disease. This is my results of the learning style thing. This is the end of my day 3# Journal Entry.

Your Scores:

Auditory: 30%

Visual: 30%

Tactile: 40%

This morning we went to the function room with the other classes and made some questions about memory. Professor Y told us that we will learn about memories this week. We had lots and lots of questions. Here are some of the questions:
(1.) How does your memory work? (2.) How do you train brain to remember? (3.) What is a long-term memory, short-term memory and core memory?

(4.) Why do you dream? (5.) How do you remember some dreams?

This is the end of my day 4# Journal Entry.

Today we learned about fixed and growth mindset. Fixed mindset is a mindset that makes you have a goal and tried your hardest to achieve it. A growth mindset is a mindset that makes you more relaxed and makes you open-minded. The best mindset is fixed and growth mindset. Mr. Yuri said that kids will have growth mindsets but when they grow up they will have fixed mindset. We also had to put examples on the growth and the fixed wall. Most of the growth mindsets are about effort and most of the fixed mindset are about negative stuff. This is the end of my day 5# Journal Entry.

Today we learned about memory and dreams. I learned that memories are stored in the cerebellum, cerebrum and brain stem. I also learned that if we don't sleep enough we sleep walk and if we sleep enough we dream. I learned that we could have more than 1 dream. We could also dream about what we were thinking about. I also learned that a short-term memory is a memory that is very easily forgot, a long-term memory is a memory that you remember for a long time and a core memory is a very important memory that is almost impossible to forget. This is the end of my day 6# Journal Entry.

Today we learned about we were doing our summative assessment expository writing. We did 3 body paragraphs, the introduction and the conclusion. Along the process of writing, I also learned some stuff about learning styles. I did some research and found out that I was also sort of visual. I am sort of like 50% Tactile, 40% Visual and 10% Auditory. I also found some activities for tactile learners like centers, scoot, and scavenger hunts. This is the end of my day 7# Journal Entry.
