My classroom set-up consists of students centered in the classroom and my desk set up next to thiers instead of my desk being centered or off to the corner of the classroom, surrounding the classroom is the a reading center that will incorporate books of all kinds, level appropriate, reading center will also act as a quite/rest sections where students will be able to go and rest if they need a few minutes to regather themselves. Then next to the reading center is a "Word Wall" where all words related to the unit will be displayed. Next we have a "lend-a-hand desk" which is the desk where I or a Teacher's Aid aid are able to confer with students. In the center back we have the Science Center. In my future classroom I am imagining windows towards the back therefore I thought staging the Science center near the windows would be perfect spot, especially for hands-on activities. Next to the science centers is the Art Gallery where students art related work can be displayed just like an art gallery. Next to the Art Gallery is the Computers Lab, technology plays a significant role in the classroom today therefore it is important to have a designated area for it. Finally, coming full circle is the the "math power" center where related unit student work can be displayed. Also thourghout the classroom students work will displayed as well as classroom guidelines and motivational posters, and posters of significant people in different subject areas.

Growing up with Bill Nye in my science classroom was always something to look forward too. I think incorporating Bill Nye into Science is a great idea because his videos are perfect for the youth and he makes difficult topics easy to understand.

Liberty Boulevard Elementary is the elementary that I assisted, and before me it was my three older siblings and a few other family members, after me it was my younger brother, nephews and nieces and cousins. Liberty Boulevard is a place where we have made lots of special memories and have met many great teachers and staff. This is definitely a site I would love to return the favor and teach the future youth.
