I didn't know what to make my background at first, but then I settled with a galaxy.

Challenges: The AI is so goofy, it did not generate the penguin correctly, had to retry multiple times just to get it right! I also figured out how to make the plane animated!

4) The AI might not give me the pictures I wanted even though I typed in the full details of picture that I wanted. I just needed the AI to go through many trials in order to get the pictures I wanted. It did not take very long, fortunately =)

2) Google is a simple AI engine. I watched a video about how their searches work. Google explains that searches work using many other details (like location) to do complete searches we want. The AI that I used consists of many, many complex codes, in order to work and do learn from its mistakes. Google is different in that it is not able to learn from its mistakes.

3) AI is very creative and is very useful indeed for me to create pictures. Another point is that the pictures in Google are from other people, making us doubt about copyright laws. In contrast, AI ditches that problem completely. This makes me rely on the AI pictures more. AI also creates pictures fast. The AI also tries to learn from its mistakes when I did not want to accept the pictures it created.

Some troubles I faced is when I tried uploading pictures. At first I was unsure of how to do it. In the end, 'cher taught me and I overcomed the challenge.

My friends have truly supported throughout my primary school life and gave me a lot of support like puffy clouds. Lastly, I wrote my name in initials with the design of bunnies as I love bunnies! All in all, that is the description for my final artwork.

4) When I was completing my artwork, it was of course, full of difficulties. Firstly, I needed to find appropriate backgrounds to cover the given ones on the newspaper. I had to keep generating photos and finally start choosing. Talking about this, we also had to be very careful with what we say to the AI. When our instructions were not clear enough, we might get things that we might not wished for and we would get frustrated and annoyed. Thirdly, I also learnt to problem solve. At first, there were words on the given newspapers that did not really look pleasing. But after much thinking and discussing with my friends, I finally decided to write the passage about “memories of Hong Wen school” myself. There were many other difficulties that I’m sure others experienced too, but I know these few lessons taught us the importance of perseverance.

3. 2) In my view, AI is very different from google search and google images.  In google and google images, when we search up what we wanted to put in the slides, the google images will give us “ real life “ photos that have been taken by other people and it is harder to find something that is special and unique. But with AI generated photos, the photos that we get are one of a kind and no one would have the same photos. We can have our own freedom to the photos.

3. 3) With AI generated photos, our slides become more unique and special. With AI generated photos, we get what we loved in photos that are full of creativity and full of fun! With AI, it helped made my slide more interesting . My slides have increasingly became more exciting and have added some excitement!

I use AI only when I feel lazy and don't want to create art, but I usually prefer to draw by myself as I can picture the art myself as its in my mind! In conclusion AI is for me when I am lazy and manually drawing is when I want a specific art design:)

4)One of the problems that i had encountered is not knowing where to put those pictures.

4) Creating my artwork had a few challenges. I had to make sure the snowflakes, words that were snow-like, and the moving picture of the airplane all fit together nicely without looking too crowded. It was important that the airplane looked like it belonged in the snowy scene and didn't stand out too much. Making sure the snowy words were easy to read against the snowy background was tricky too. I also wanted to show how much I like airplanes and traveling without making it too busy. It took careful planning to get everything to work together!

3) I am in a swamp, standing on the biggest lilypad. I am holding up two precious pictures of my memories in Hong wen. The sun is setting beautifully, and there are hummingbirds flying at my left. The view is picturesque (and very beautiful indeed)

4) Some challenges I had was firstly, the lack of ideas, but my friend Reygis was very creative and gave me some wonderful ideas. I typed them out in the ideogram app, and it was perfect. Thanks to Reygis again. Secondly, I also had a problem with removing the background of pictures, but I eventually found out the method, which is by zooming in, and meticulously (and painstakingly) removing it. This method is 5X more effective, so I also helped others remove their backgrounds of pictures.

4)I had faced many challenges such as finding a good picture and ideogram did not give the photo I really wanted.The power point was also too small for me.

1)I used to think that AI would take an extremely long time to generate a suitable photograph/background. Surprisingly, it did not take long (Only 3 tries!)

2)There are many differences between traditional search engines and AI. Firstly, Google (a search engine), has thousands of pictures in just a single search. However, the AI only has 4 pictures per generation.  Secondly, the AI has limited searches (15 per 24 hrs) while search engines have unlimited searches. Finally, ideogram takes a minute to load up 4 pics while the Search engine can load thousands (maybe even ten thousand) photos in a few milliseconds.

3)The AI helped to load more detailed pictures than usual pictures. It has helped me tremendously.

• The background for my artwork is a black hole and space, as it represents the infinite and unlimited room and space for memories and imagination, and black hole represents the cognitive mind holding these precious memories together. 

• These memories are being sucked into our mind, storing them for an indefinite amount of time, as long as we treasure them with great gratitude and appreciation. 

• The photo frames being sucked into the black hole are the priceless memories of me spending time in Hong Wen School with my classmates and friends.

• The basketball and the Xiangqi board represents the CCAs that I have joined during my time in Hong Wen School. 

• The equations above my head represent my love for math, and my curiosities in it. 

• To sum up all the classes I have been in in my life at Hong Wen School, I have put an ice cube in the top right corner as a symbol for all the values of the classes I have been in and taught to me in these six years are Integrity, Compassion, and Excellence.

4) Some challenges I faced

• Some difficulties I had encountered was the lack of time I had and the confusion I had in doing my artworks. 

• As I have an attention span and memory of a goldfish, I could not listen to teacher before being lost in thought every 2 minutes.  Luckily, with the help of my classmates I was able to overcome the challenge. 

• I also did not know what to put as my background, as I was not satisfied with it. I also did not know what to put in my art piece, but after some fresh ‘inspiration’ and clear thinking of the important and memorable things I’ve done in Hong Wen, as well as some imagination and countless futile tries, I was able to come up with my art piece.  Though I wanted to give up, I stayed determined. The art piece is certainly not perfect, but I definitely tried my best.

2)I definitely faced a whole bullshit of challenges. Firstly, it was so miserable finding a perfect background.I spent a entire goddamn lesson just to find a perfect background.

BUT, if we do not control ourselves, AI will take over art. For example, if people keep using AI, they will lose their creativity to make original artworks and I think it is not good, so I feel that people should control themselves.

On the flip side, many think AI will be a net-positive for the art world, but I disagree, and therefore will not go in-depth. I am not the most interested person towards art, especially modern art, but I think even this attracted my attention, and I am a bit worried I will no longer tell the difference between AI and human-made videos soon.

 However , AI could be bad too.  Humans will rely on AI and not use their own brains , own creativity to create art. The whole point of art is so humans can express their creativity through drawings, paintings or sculptures. If we solely rely on AI when we do art it will not be art anymore it will be just following what AI tells us to do. The essence of art often involves human creativity, emotion, and intention, which AI might not fully capture. While AI can be a powerful tool, the unique touch of human input is what often makes art meaningful and original.

In conclusion , I feel excited and skeptical at the same time about using AI for art in the future .

It is very convenient, the artist will also be lazy. i feel happy as the art in the future is different and there is more creativity in the art.
