I learned that Russia actually agreed to respect the Ukrainian border in exchange for Ukraine's whole arsenal of nuclear weapons, but they still invaded Ukraine anyway. I propose a solution of Ukraine proposing a truce and gives Russia something to let Russia give Ukraine the freedom they are fighting for. We could promote peace between Russia and Ukraine by putting posters up in public places to alert the Russians that war will only lead to the loss of both sides. This crisis is important to learn about since then you have a thorough understanding of this crisis and will have an idea of what's going on.

1 I learned that Russia is trying to invade Ukraine. They are trying to invade Ukraine because Ukraine was once part of Russia and now they are not a part of russia. Putin (Russia's dictator) wants to take over Ukraine's land so he can transport oil better and to have power over Ukraine again

2 I think that russia should back down. I think this because they are just bombing and destroying Ukraine's land because they want more money and control over the country. Ukraine did nothing wrong just Russia wants to be bigger and more wealthy.

3 We can encourage Russian citizens to not stand with Putin and try to help save ukraine because it's not anyone's fault thi is happening it's Putin's fault.

4 This is important to learn because Russia may bomb Ukraine and everyone else in the world including america does not what that to happen so If Puting dose that world war 3 will happen so It is important to know and be prepared if this does happen.

I learned that the reason Russia is trying to take over Ukraine is for pipeline circumstances. Russia wants to be able to pay off taxes more easy by sending oil to Europe. But Having Ukraine in the way, it made many things more difficult. Ukraine says "no" to having the pipeline go through. Russia can't just go around Ukraine becuase other countries are surrounding saying "no" as well. So they think taking over will make things more easier. Which I completely disagree in. If Russia does start to come forward and invade Ukraine, then Ukraine will have to send in ordinary citizens to fight for freedom. Solutions I purpose to help Ukraine stop this war is that maybe the president of Ukraine can try to communicate with Putin to say that this is stupid. For us to help stop this war as well, is getting our voices heard by Putin. We need to show him that he is a stupid little baby. This crisis is very important becuase it could start World War |||. Millions died. Almost billions. And I don't think anyone wants family's perishing becuase of Putin's actions. This actions of his is really irresponsable.

A solution might be to maybe one of the other to back down on their opinion. Something me and peers could do is tell the people of Ukraine to go to Poland's border. This is important to learn about because people need to know that Ukraine is in need of help.

1) One new thing that I learned was that President Biden had a meeting with many world leaders to make a global response to the Ukraine-Russia Crisis

2) One solution that I suggest is having a small portion of military people stationed at the places where the Russians are invading. The military people would be from each of the countries that are supporting the Ukrainians.

3) Some specific actions that we can do is give positive messages to the community to help stop this crisis. This could help because giving positive messages could help prevent any further damage.

4) The crisis is important to learn about because it is good to know what is happening in the world, especially because this crisis could affect a lot of people. This is also important because we can see how our world leaders solve this major problem

1) I learned from the information presented that many american bars are throwing out Russian vodka and wine to protest against Russia's actions, and I learned that Russian military bases are avoiding many questions from the press and the news for most likely confidential reasons. And that America thinks that Russia will find some kind of excuse to attack Ukraine.
2) I propose that Russia should hold back on the attack on Ukraine because if not then there could be war and the lives lost are not worth the land of Ukraine.
3) Spreading awareness is always a good way to contribute to many situations within the nation and throughout the country.
4)This crisis is an important thing to learn about because you must keep up with the news in certain situations because it will start getting false facts and and information attached to it.

1} The new things I learned from the information presented is that President Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, doesn't want war against the Russian people. I also learned that the Ruble, the currency of Russia and Belarus crashed by 25% during the invasion of Ukraine. Russia also got kicked out of SWIFT, which is bank that handles the majority of international money transfer.

2} The solution that I propose is to give Russians what they want in order to stop the war. The Russian army is big so it'll be hard for Ukraine to defeat them, if they give Russia what they want then they'll lose a lot of things but the lives of their people.

3} The actions me and my peers could spread the news and that might get the attention of other countries to join in and help Ukraine give the things that Russia wants to avoid a war.
4} This crisis is important to learn about because it will effect a lot of people. Not just Ukrainians and Russians, but a lot of people, including us. With people learning about this crisis it'll give them the chance to prepare for the worst.

1) I discovered that one of the reasons that Russia and Ukraine are fighting each other is because of NATO. NATO is a military alliance that Ukraine wants to join but Russia does not want that to happen. Russia sees NATO as a major threat.

2) The solution that I propose is, all the leaders of the countries that are involved in the Russia and Ukraine situation to hold a meeting in person or on call to figure something out. They can try to figure out something that would be beneficial to all. If that doesn't work Ukraine should ask some other countries to help them if it gets really bad.

3) The specific action that peers and I can realistically take to contribute to the solution is raising awareness about the situation that is happening in Russia and Ukraine. We can inform others about it in school and online.

4) This crisis is important to learn about. You should know about what is going on in the world. One day this will be history. Because of this fight there are many people losing their home, family, and lives. You should raise awareness about what is happening.

Russia and Ukraine's history has traced back centuries in the past.

2) I propose that both Ukraine and Russia should have a final agreement of what to do. If war decides to happen, Ukraine should be ready since they have support from other countries.

3) We can encourage people to defend the country of Ukraine by supporting them using actions that show the tension between Ukraine and Russia and how Russia is being tyrannical.

4) This crisis is important to learn about since the tension between Ukraine and Russian have been going on for centuries in the past and if World War III happens with both of these countries, the tension between both countries may or may not end.

I learned that Ukraine and Russia agreed to transfer its arsenal to Russia in exchange for in exchange for a guarantee that Moscow will respect borders, even though they still invaded. A solution I would do is for Russia to simply just stop invading. Considering the fact that Russia already has a bad reputation the world would all be against Russia. So Russia should just back away because it would be safer for both Ukraine and Russia. What I could do to contribute to my solution is to start encouraging Russia to stop what they are doing as Ukraine already did this which if we show that everyone is against Russia they might back down because Russia could be in a lot of danger. It is important to learn about the crisis between Russia and Ukraine because if Russia harmed Ukraine, or even bombed Ukraine the whole world would know and probably should take action as the world could be in quite a bit of danger, which would make the world a worse place so we need to be aware of what is happening in the world.

At least understand some people don't want to go through this crisis and to be in peace. Also you shouldn't fight like this.
3) We could make signs to let people know to stop.
4) This crisis is important to learn about because crisis could lead to conflict and then it won't be as good which is why Ukraine and Russia is in this crisis. Another reason why learning about crisis is important is because you can learn to avoid the crisis and always think positive.

1) I learned that the Ukraine don't wars and if they are being attacked, they will defend themselves. They really don't war because they know that there is going to be many people die in this war just because Russia and Ukraine.
2) I think they can talk to each other and get a better idea other than a war. If there is no solution, then they need to think of it, and they can't use the idea of war to invade them. And one solution I have is ask the Ukraine to get back to Russia and if they say no, then ask why they don't want to come back, and change the part they don't like.
3) I can tell the video to other people to watch it. Or I can even make a poster of it and get more people that can help me put the poster and tell the video to the school or other people.
4) Because if the war happen, then many people will die like the world war 1 and world war 2. Many people will lose their parents, friends, and other important people. And if the war happens, the other states might get into the war and there must be more people die in that war than the world war 2.

1) Though it is complicated and difficult to understand, from what I've seen and heard, Russia is taking the first steps toward war. They are threatening andd attacking. The podcast presented some distressed opinions and perspectives from thhe citizens of Ukraine. The general shared idea was that they wanted to flee. They had to flee and sometimes that included leaving behind loved ones. I think that must be very difficult to do. To think that the safety and security of my friends, family and I is jeapordized would make me tremble with fear. Ultimately, I have learned that the Russia-Ukraine crisis is complex, with various motives and various consequences.

2) With a crisis this severe and complex, there are many solutions that we could try that have a chance at working, but no guarantee. We can obviously see that the Ukrainian president is trying to resolve this problem for his loved ones if not for the better of his country. Sending educational videos about the topic onto the internet, spreading knowledge and awareness, all of this can have the chance at making a huge difference.

4) This crisis is important to know about because these arre real people that live in the same world, on the same planet we do. There are so many ways that this could expand to affect us, so best be educated on it beforehand. For example, some Ukrainians are moving to the Bay Area already. Also, these people suffer from things so much worse than the problems we have in our daily lives. The least we can do is feel enough compassion to help.

In 1991 it was divided into 15 independent countries that include Russia and Ukraine. I also learned that Russia is invading Ukraine to prove itself as a powerful country.
2) A solution that I propose is that Russia should leave Ukraine alone because it won't do anyone any good. It probably won't prove anything positive about Russia either, as Ukraine is a much smaller country with a highly outnumbered military.
3) An action that I could take is watching the countries' speeches and stay up to date. I could also see if they are taking any donations for Ukrainian people that have lost their homes.
4) This is important to learn about because The United States are an ally country of Ukraine so if things get really bad out country might get involved in this.
4) This is important to learn about because it can help you in real life. For example, if you are trying to take an important decision, don't let other people manipulate or encourage you to the other side. You take the decisions here.

Ukraine as well is wanting protection from NATO. The president of Ukraine sent an appeal NATO if he could be accepted. Which is really hard. IF he does get it, then he will be under the protection of NATO. If he will not be under the protection of NATO and Russia does start to come forward and invade Ukraine, then Ukraine will have to send in ordinary citizens to fight for freedom.

Another thing that I learned is that Ukraine didn't even do anything to provoke Putin to start a war because Ukraine didn't do anything to Russia.

2) I think that the President of Ukraine should tell president Putin that he wants a truce because Ukraine never did something to Russia. I also think that Ukraine should be ready to go to shelter, and if Russia still doesn't stop they should be ready to battle.
3) Something that I think should happen because dit can actually happen is that I think that other places other than Ukraine should help fight Russia. This is because Russia is probably not going to stop any time soon, so everyone should try their best to help Ukraine.

4) This crisis is important to learn about because it is a very big, and many people are in danger. It is also very important because many people will lose their lives during this time and battle.

1) I learned between Russia and Ukraine that Russia began to invade the Ukraine people because a while ago Russia and Ukraine were both in the same Country and Mr. Putin the president of Russia is try to gain power over Ukraine.

2) One Solution I have is, maybe the President of Ukraine should maybe say sorry so the war could stop but I highly doubt thats going to happen.

3) I think that other states and countries to tell Mr.Putin to stop by protesting. But Mr.Putin may come after more countries if they tell him to stop. But Putin is losing the war which is good.

4).........
