My favorite memory was our family's annual Christmas Eve dinner at the precinct in downtown Cincinnati. This happens to be my favorite holiday as well. I really enjoy seeing the closeness of our family after so many years.

I went to the same high school and church as Barbara. We meet through mutual friends and married shorty after graduating before i deployed to Vietnam. We will have been married for 60 years in January

Travel Difficulties

The hardest thing I ever had to do was be away from my family when I needed to work. I had would be gone for a week every other month traveling with my company.

I loved playing football because it allowed me to see all my friends in a less structured environment than school. We worked on the farm after school so we had little free time for social interactions

The Gang

I have two sons, Darrin the oldest and Troy the youngest. Being a parent is so wonderful because you get to watch the development of your children. I have three grandchildren that are lively and loving. The oldest is Brittany, the youngest is Evan, and I think you know the middle child.

Dear Mr. Black,

Thank you for taking the time to sit down and answer my interview questions. It was a wonderful experience that allowed me to learn more about you and how you life has impacted you. I could see the positivity that these experiences brought you when listening to your stories. I was surprised that you found traveling to be the most difficult thing to do because I thought you really enjoyed traveling the country.

The importance of loving and supporting family was the lesson that I learned from you throughout the interview. You made it clear that the most important thing in your life is your family. I also learned that accepting and adapting to health issues is also important. I’m sorry to hear that your struggle with CAD but I can see that you have adapted your lifestyle to deal with this issues. Thank you again for sharing you experiences with me!
