3 things as recognition practice that volunteers appreciate the most: - pick up from the airport and logistical support before coming and at the beginning of the project; - welcome, goodbye, birthday and similar celebrations especially about local more important events; - opportunity to have one on one conversations with the staff.
3 things as recognition practice that volunteers appreciate the least: - no clear distinction on roles and where to ask for guidance; - time management on completed tasks; - lack of advance use of technology.
