Chrissy gave us an insight on what she has been doing and the positive impact she has made since creating this organisation. It really opened my eyes to how fast the world is changing in front of us everyday and how badly things are, almost going downhill in some aspects.

An inspiring documentary where science experts and celebrity activists unpack the ways in which the earth's soil may be the key to combating climate change and preserving the planet. 

I do think that we were given some great research tools in this talk and I learned a great deal about myself also in fact. Everyone has a knock on effect on the way things are ran and the planet. We have a lot of explaining to do. We as humans are responsible for a lot. I think we should all take accountability and change for the better. 

I learned from this elective that even starting off small helps and can go a long way. PROS

• It is extremely dense with information on global news relating to the fashion industry whilst also having other sectors such as food, health, retail, youth and travel. 
• The website is very visual and aesthetic. 
• It is set out almost like a blog. Even though there is a lot of information to digest, it is easy to read whilst also incorporating political values without it seeming too complex.
• LS:N Global has a trend feature which is necessary, as a fashion student especially, to keep up to date with. The trends are also specific for example: macro/micro trends, design direction and trend tracking. 
• I enjoy how there are so many diverse articles to choose from and how the articles vary in how brief or detailed it is.
