She was killed January 13, 1999 and was found February 9, 1999. Adnan's friend Jay was also heavily involved in this case stating that Adnan had called him to help out. Adnan was convicted on February 25, 2000 and sent to prison at Maryland Correctional Facility. It's unfinished in my opinion. I can't tell if Adnan is innocent or not. I'm leaning more towards him being innocent but I think that he needs another trial and a very very VERY thorough run through of ALL the evidence. Even the evidence that wasn't presented at the first trial. I think all witnesses should be there too. Anyone and anything that is even vaguely linked to this case in anyway should be on the table for examination. The evidence that they have isn't horrible but it doesn't all line up and they seemed to have taken Jay's words as gospel.
