Survivalism is a movement which is a little bit difficult to date because we don't exactly know where and when it began but we know that it appeared in the 20th century in books. Survivalism consists to learn :
- How to be prepare when a disaster happens ( natural, nuclear disasters ... )
- How to survive in a hostile environment.
- How to arm themselves.

Preppers

There is no much difference between survivalists and peppers, the main difference is the connotation behind the word.
Survivalist is seen like someone who is very extreme and selfish.
Whereas a prepper is more like a normal and ordinary person who is ready to prepare themselves when a disaster happens.
