         <description><![CDATA[<div>Is the attribution of human feelings or responses to inanimate things or animals, especially in art and literature.<br>This is demonstrated in Act 1, Scene 1, Lines 1 &amp; 2, "When shall we meet again/In the thunder, lightning, or in the rain?"</div><div>The main type of weather described in Act 1 is thunder, lighting, or rain which is used to represent that evil is is taking place or that evil plans are being formulated. The storms are common throughout the act because a lot of evil plans are being made.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A quality that evokes pity or sadness, a defect that causes the downfall of the protagonist of a tragedy.<br><br>This is best showed through Act 1, scene 7, lines 2-5.<br><br>"If the assassination could trammel up the consequence, and catch, with his surcease, that but this blow might be the be-all and the end-all here.." <br><br>This quotes shows what could happen if the assassination of Duncan goes wrong. As the book states..  "If Duncan's murder would have no negative consequences and be successfully completed with his death, then Macbeth would risk enternal damnation". <br><br></div>]]></description>
