I Learned: There are many positives to having one iPad for every child and for sharing them among the students. I am presently surprised to see that there are so many benefits to sharing. I thought that 1:1 would have been the best way. I learned that students are able to collaborate and work together when they share. They are able to work together to create one amazing product. I Learned: Students love when they are able to write the words or create the words by using an iPad. I had my students write their sight words on the iPads and they were so engaged in the game. I Learned: Students enjoy posting on Seesaw because they are able to watch themselves and their parents can see as well. They work hard in order to make their parents proud. New I wonder: Why were all of the students that preferred reading on their own from my higher reading groups? Is it because they are more successful at reading so they feel proud that they can do it? I Learned: Peer tutors are very beneficial. Low students feel more confident because they are able to do more with the help of another student. Engagement increases with the help of a peer tutor. I Learned: Almost all of my students enjoy using the iPads over using paper and pencil. Students were extremely engaged when creating a chatterpix.
