personally, I believe that the economic as well as the ecological development of a country are two very important aspects. it is often very difficult to decide which is more important. currently, with the pandemic being people's number one priority, the economic stability is very important. however, while the economy is important, the environment is too. therefore, i believe that the government should come up with a way in which the trees can be cut down, however, the organizations mining for the diamonds should compensate for the trees lost. for example, the government can cut down 1/4 of the trees and then plant the same number of trees to make up for those which were lost. i believe that in this case, there is no best solution and hence, it is very importance to create a balance.

According to me, the trees should be left as they are and they should not be touched because it creates imbalances in the ecosystem and it may be harmful for the human race. As climate change are increasing, trees are pretty much essential to create a balance of CO2 and O2 and if they are cut, the region may become hotter and more polluted than before since CO2 is a greenhouse gas

The decision as to whether or not the project should be conducted remains dependent on the magnitude of the project and whether or not its effects can be neutralized. If the trees can be replanted elsewhere, then the project should be conducted as the pandemic has had devastating effects on the national economy. If the project has a negative impact on the local environment, air quality, and overall climate, then that takes precedence and in interest of the environment, the project must not be conducted.

Economical and ecological advancements in a country should hold their own importance. At the moment India as a country is fighting the economic fall out of the COVID-19 pandemic as well as climate change which is why it is essential to prioritise. I believe that the decision of the case in hand should be taken while considering both the short term and long term consequences. I believe that as more and more people are getting vaccinated, the economy will soon start recovering. This development will take a few years. The environment on the other hand takes decades, even centuries to heal. Depending on how severe the damage is, the long term consequences of destroying nature will only get worse. Therefore I believe that the government should decide whether or not this step is truly required and if it is then they should come up with a sustainable way to continue the project.

The answer is complicated and nuanced in my opinion. The most simple answer would be no; trees should not be cut down and we have to find another way but we need to take into account that humans are greedy. it's sad but its true and at this point of time it's impossible to stop the way trees are cut down but it needs to stop so i think this would be the best course is to find a balance of cutting down trees and planting trees; it certainly isn't the ideal situation but its a compromise which i believe over time would even out the imbalance of trees.

In my opinion. No trees should be cut down and we need to find an alternative way. Both economical and ecological advancements are extremely important. So the essentials need to be prioritised and chosen accordingly. All sectors have different goals and they would set out to achieve them, whereas we need to see what is best for the environment and economical growth.

Economic development and change go hand in hand. For an economy to flourish, change is needed. However, if the cost of that economic development is cutting trees, one might have to rethink which is more important. But the answer is not that simple, it is not a straight yes or no answer. We need to think about the magnitude of economic development that can be caused by this. If the answer is in higher figures, we need to understand how the environment’s loss can be replenished. If the same or higher number of trees can be planted elsewhere, then the project should be conducted in the name of economic development.
