Marks currently treats patients at Neurology Associates of Westchester in Hawthorne, New York. He also leads the Cerebrovascular Program and Stroke Center at Westchester Medical Center, a comprehensive stroke center in Valhalla, New York. The author of several chapters on stroke for medical textbooks, Dr. Stephen J. Marks has presented at the American Academy of Neurology on nine occasions.
