         <description><![CDATA[<div>1753- the Ohio company goes into the Ohio country and starts to settle.&nbsp;<br>1753- the French start to attack and drive out the English settlers.&nbsp;<br>Ohio company withdraws from the Ohio country, French then build fort Duquesne.&nbsp;<br>1754-&nbsp; George Washington- governor of Virgina( denwiddie) dispatches George Washington and commissioned him to go to fort Duquesne to resolve the conflict.&nbsp;<br>When they got close to fort Duquesne they ran into a group of French trappers and the Indians murdered them.&nbsp;<br>French pursue George Washington.&nbsp;<br>George Washington crestes fort necessity.&nbsp;<br>George Washington gets taken back to fort Duquesne.&nbsp;<br>George Washington and the French genereal sign a document that says George will never comeback on behalf of great Britain.&nbsp;<br>1754- Albany Congress. Ben Franklin suggests that we need to have a meeting with all 13 colonies. First time all 13 met. Made the Albany plan, created a substructure of government below the British. Gave power to govern ourselves. A lot of the ideas from the Albany plan went to the Constitution. </div>]]></description>

He shifted great britians focus to expelling the french out of North America.&nbsp; Puts more money into the North American economy with a massive infusion of British currency. Buys support of the native americans with promises of fixed territorial boundaries. More troops. French defeat: treaty of Easton. Promised the Iroquois they wouldn't settle in the Alleghenies in exchange for neturality. <br><br></div>]]></description>
