Think about how you would feel if you were looking forward to after school sports or something you did that you enjoyed. And the school day was extended so it took an hour off what you loved. How would you feel? If you were having a game or going to see someone far away and you only had an hour to talk and see them or you had a game, and it went to nine because of the one-hour change. Less participation and can hurt also school is good but having too much means you learn less in the world out of knowledge. I can see how much it could help other kids to learn longer but it wouldn't be ideal for other kids. This why it can be good for the brains but it's also a lot to take in and sports and stuff like things out of the world are important.
