You cannot look at managing without taking a look at the top manager of our country. This article covers so many of the topics we have been studying. First, the selection of the Carl's Jr. executive to lead labor brings to question the judgement of this man. Can the executive of the company that so blatantly sexualizes women be in charge of the labor division of the company? Then, we can discuss globalization and the loss of our manufacturing jobs. While Trump did manage to retain some jobs at Carrier, still a great majority of them are being replaced with technology in that Indiana plant. The article also discusses Ivanka Trumps role in being a women's advocate as well as a climate change advocate. And finally, in the human resources department, Trump wants to hire a man to lead the EPA who is currently suing the EPA. Seems like perhaps there would have been a better choice for the job. Perhaps Mr. Trump should look to a head hunting company...
