As a child, I spent a lot of time in our local library taking out books and attending "Storytime". As a mom, I have read to my children all throughout their lives, and as a teacher I have yet to find a student who does not enjoy being read to whether it be elementary or high school!     Literacies I practice with friends and my son through drawing, playing guitar, watching musicals, and living a daily musical reallllly.

    My son's and dad's health journeys has taught me literacies of patience, listening, medicine, healing, new vocabularies and humility.

    Are You Afraid of the Dark?- Scared the pants off of me and influenced my love of horror.

    RCMP kids-travelled all over AB so many people and stories.

    My 2 year old Charleigh- loves to tell stories and listening to stories and the best thing I have ever done.

    Backstreet Boys- I love music which is another form of story telling

    Harry Potter and Babysitter's Club Book were my first fav series to read in Grade 1 and Grade 4-Univeristy (and my first tattoo!)

    Where Did I Come From-- My very liberal open grandma believed in sharing everything.
