While a lot of immigration is a push some major pull factors are things such as better education, family and diversity. The "welcoming" nature of the US make it a prosperous place for some immgrants.          <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>Starting 1840-1889, around 90% of U.S. immigrants had origins in Europe, with around 70% with origins in Germany, Ireland and the United Kingdom.</p></li><li><p>Close too 90% of the immigrants who came from 1890-1919 were from Europe. barely 60% were from Italy, Austria-Hungary and Russia-Poland.</p></li><li><p>Since 1965, around 50% of U.S. immigrants have come from Latin America, and 25% from just Mexico. Around another quarter have origins in Asia. many people have come from China, India, the Philippines, Central America and the Caribbean.</p></li></ul>]]></description>

America provided job oppurtunities and a safe environment. Other countries have ongoing war that endangers either them directly or their families. A push factor is as said above ongoing war, and making their life hard that they would take the chance to be an undocumented immigrant.</strong></p>]]></description>
