Some people came to America to escape religious persecution, economic problems, and political problems. People came to avoid war. America provided job oppurtunities and a safe environment. Other countries have ongoing war that endangers either them directly or their families. A push factor is as said above ongoing war, and making their life hard that they would take the chance to be an undocumented immigrant.
