In this article, they discuss the pros and cons of Globalization. A few pros are: free trade, the opportunities given to other countries, and labor can move more easily. Free trade can be a pro because it means that businesses can sell in any country they want without any tax. This means there are more opportunities for both businesses and consumers, because businesses can make more of a profit and consumers can have a more diverse selection of where they can go. Other nations have more opportunity because if a country doesn't have much oil (which is the example used in the article) they can trade with other countries that do. Everybody can have everything they need with Globalization. Something similar to this is that countries have more opportunity in labor. If one country is low in a certain necessary profession, such as a teacher or scientist, they can get these workers from other countries.

This article states that due to globalization, work conditions are decreasing. More companies are hiring prisoners and child workers since it isn't illegal in every country so that they can be more productive. America is also crowding out other countries' cultures from globalization. A few more cons discussed are the fact that more diseases such as HIV and AIDS are being transmitted, inequality throughout smaller countries has increased, and richer companies are able to do more with less of a liability, allowing them to do borderline illegal things, such as hiring prisoners and children, as stated before.

In this graphic, it shows a few pros and cons of Globalization. Globalization keeps peace within the world. When countries are dependent on each other, they need to be peaceful as well, and get along. This is how peace remains within the world; we need each other, so we can't be constantly fighting. Smaller countries can also band together and create a bigger name for themselves, like countries in Europe did. Another point this graphic makes is how governments can learn from one another, such as new techniques, good policies, and maybe even how to make things for themselves, such as medicine.

This graphic makes a few good points about the cons of Globalization. Increasing Globalization means decreasing wages. Companies moving in to new countries creates more competition, meaning they both companies have to lower their prices. This means that there isn't a lot of money left for workers, so they are either paid less or laid off. The graphic also says that Globalization impacts the environment. I think by this it means that more companies will have access to land, and will use that to their advantage. It could also mean that due to increasing competition, companies will have to use more land resources, tearing down the land in order to have what they need to make their product.

In this article, it states that Globalization gives much more opportunity to skilled workers. Many people don't think about the employee aspect of Globalization. Globalization allows these workers to move with their company to other countries, and possibly even get paid more. The article also talks about how Globalization lets us learn and live with other countries. This world needs to be as united as possible, because we're all we got. With Globalization, we can share cultures, and learn with one another, instead of being apart.

With Globalization, some countries may have a hard time competing with foreign businesses. This could send the economy in the country down, and overall harm domestic businesses. Also, if the country we are trading with has no child labor laws, and uses children to do their work, we're just as bad for buying those products. We are enabling those countries. Many people also worry that small countries will lose some of their culture do to other cultures integrating.
