Students to work in groups to create a children's book for ages 4-8. The book should educate young children on a specific issue/ topic facing people today or contain some moral human learning experience i.e. resilience, kindness, etc.

Personalisation of animals.

Can be a quick starter task to loosen up and get students ideas and creativity going.
On a whiteboard- draw an animal (can be cartoon esq)
Everyone gives a activity suggestion in a box or on a random picker
Pick out an activity that the students have to draw the animal doing.

Aim is to praise and support students in there approach to the challenge NOT to build drawing skill.

Traditional vs digital- Students can have autonomy in what they decide, however traditional may bring challenges for teachers who don't feel confident with techniques. Students should be encourage to consider the strengths and limitations of both and work with their own strengths. (Smart about myself!?)
Digital content can be created to support students who struggle with art techniques and building confidence.
