The house being surrounded by wildlife and forestry was very dreamlike and whimsical. I loved the way little edie spoke , even when she was correcting her mother, she spoke in a gentle and caring way. They are both extremely passionate about their theatrical talents , i felt empathy for little edie when she was describing how she feels trapped in that house, and longs for an inch of the city life. Reminiscing of what could be and what happened was a common theme - which i enjoyed throughout.
