All credit goes to the place that raised me: Northern Illinois! Despite growing up and believing that nothing could be worse than a small town surrounded by corn fields, I have now come to love and adore my hometown. Living 9.5 hours away when I'm in college has been tough, but it is sweet to have somewhere worth visiting! I have one older sister, who also goes to the U of A, and a 4 year old puppy! Due to the fact that I made my parents empty-nesters, they enjoy visiting a lot! I love when they come and get to experience a glimpse into our lives in Fayetteville!

As a sophomore, I now live in the Kappa house and it has become my home away from home. Living with 91 other Kappas has been a blessing! Not only is it a beautiful house, it is also the biggest sorority house in the nation! Coming to school from far away has always been an area of concern, but everyone in Kappa has never made me feel out of place or homesick at all. There are a lot of sweet girls on my floor and it has been a joy to get to know them. Thankful for a place to call home and thankful for the proximity to all of the education buildings!

Just some of the sweet friends that make this town a HOME! In high school, I didn't have a lot of quality friends that encouraged me in my walk with the Lord. However, after coming to college and meeting these sweet friends, I have come to know Christ better, along with knowing these girls better. Kappa has provided me with these friendships, but Fayetteville as a whole has provided me with so much more. Really just thankful for how small and close knit the community in Fayetteville has become to me.
