I never actually thought of that certain scene this way. Although I did find it odd at first, I brushed it off because I just thought it was how the story progressed. But taking a deeper dive into the plot and connecting it to real life, it really is not a great representation. The first picture is representing trust in the book. Throughout the story, many of the characters face conflicts with each other and the thing is that they tend to think the worst about the others. Trust is key in trying to fight society, rather than themselves.
2. I chose this picture because it gave a very happy and bubbly vibe. The protagonist faces a problem where she forgets her past memories. So in order to keep them fresh in her mind, she needs to stay "bubbly," which means her adrenaline levels need to be high.
3. I chose this picture because in the story, Tally had several dreams of being locked in a tower but wanting to explore the outside world. The first thing I thought of was Rapunzel. She literally is living a life like Rapunzel, except that the world is in her society.
4. I chose this picture because characters like Tally and Shay have to fend for themselves to survive this harsh cruel world.
