Due to the Israel and Palestine War, there has been an uproar in Islamophobia and Antisemitism all around the world, in this case, London.

The problem with this is how Muslim communities that are peacefully continuing their day, participating in prayer and in their religious practices, are unfortunately negatively affected by something they are not directly involved in.

It's unfair for the Muslim communities to experience these hardships and now due to the mistreatment by policemen, Islamic practices are deterred heavily.

Mosques are Muslim houses for worship and prayer. And from the time the Hamas and Israel conflict rose, the treatment and surveillance of Islamic public practice has risen as well. This "sudden" alertness upon Muslim communities has developed solely through ignorance of worldly conflict and racism.

The relation with the current event article and the article given in class is the way Islamic women are treated when wearing the hijab.

Islamic women seen wearing the hijab is controversial for both the Muslim community and outsider communities, since they believe that it should be worn in specific occasions. With that being said, that can lead to debate and arguments, which ultimately results in preconceived assumptions and prejudice of the culture.

It's saddening that families are hesitant to send their children to school because of the fear they have from the public. The hijab is a way of representing a Muslim woman's belief in the Islamic tradition, but not being able to walk out the house without having to be aware of their surroundings is concerning for Muslim communities.

They aren't even able to complete basic tasks without some sort of profiling or assumptions from the public.
