I think i have worked now one week on our new English project and have used more than 5 hours to read and work on the project. At first, it was difficult to understand, what the project is exactly about, but my research gave me a lot of informations. My project is the Dong Xuan Center and what could be important for a future civil engineer like hopefully me. At first, i had to read the text about the Dong Xuan Center, which gave me basic information. I had to write about, what i know about this topic and how could it be important for an engineer to know about this topic. One of my last tasks, which i have done in the first week was, to write 3 questions, which was interesting and exciting. Then i should look up for answers on the questions and i was really surprised, because i have thougt, that i would get other solutions. The Dong Xuan Center is a really interesting building with still more interesting ideas for the future. I have found out, that we must promote such projects, because they help so many people with difficult life situations. One important point of such projects are engineers like me, because we can facilitate many lifes. It isn’t always the best way to built something according the normes, it is a risk, but we have so many different possibilities to build in another way. I think, that everyone should know about the Dong Xuan Center, because such a Project helps our completely society.

My topic is „THE ARRIVAL CITY IS A NETWORK OF IMMIGRANTS“.

Until last week the 12.12.2016 i am working on different topics for the project in english.

It is about how to integrate immigrants in their arrival city.

So far i handelt with two steps of my tasksheet. In step one i firstly introduced the topic and i detailed explained why this is important to me for my career as a structural engineer.

The second step was to explain why i already know about the topic.

The answere is simple because the people are speaking a lot about immigrants.

Third step was to write down a minimum of three questions who are important for my topic. For example „Why are immigrants isolated?“.

Second to the last was to write what results you get from your research.

Last but not least was a mindmap.

The best point in my opinion. It makes fun to write a mindmap and to give a small overview about my topic.

It is the 5.1.2017 and the project

„THE ARRIVAL CITY IS A NETWORK OF IMMIGRANT“ goes ahead.

The project is exhausting but it makes fun and I learn a lot.

Step 5 was my last work, it’s about to write a report summing up the project.

Delivery is on the 25.1.2017 hope it will be correct.
