I learnt that it is important for teachers to bring formal education and indigenous knowledge together for learners because indigenous knowledge is like hidden treasure as it can be useful today in our lives and someone should consider himself fortunate for having information about the indigenous things as they are rare and important therefore learners deserve to have that knowledge. Culture should be preserved so learners will be able to share the knowledge with the future generation.
