INTERESTS: What activities hold your attention for long periods of time?

I am naturally curious about history, architecture, how things work, anatomy, basketball, and sports. I love school and I love learning. Any time I can learn my attention is held. More specifically, architecture has always held my attention well. I also had an internship with an engineering company, where I worked on architectural projects. It was so much fun and I can't wait to return next summer.

VALUES: If you were to make a statement about one thing you really stand for or believe, what would that be?

Hard work is what wins big. I think a lot of people try to cut corners and see how they can make things easy, but I believe that is the exact opposite of what we should be doing. I believe that you should put the work in and do it right the first time so that you don’t have to do it again. Honest work is good work. Good work is hard work. If you're willing to work hard, you can achieve anything.

TALENTS: What comes naturally to you that seems more difficult for others?

I think something that comes naturally to me that seems more difficult for others is my ability to pick things up quickly. I feel like I can understand things easier and quicker than a lot of people can. When it comes to school, I can learn the subject quickly without need for reiteration or clarification and when it comes to basketball, I have been told I am very coachable.

MY INTENTION

My intention is to create. My dream is to become an architect. I want to either work in the restaurant business and work on intricate and unique spaces that have a wild atmosphere, or I want to flip house and turn them into houses people don’t usually come across (I could rent these houses out).

-My main “why” is because I love to create! I love to make something out of nothing.

- I feel that being an architect will give me the opportunity to express all my ideas and passions.

- I think that this career has the potential to make me financially stable, especially after several years in the field.

- I have fun when I am learning about architecture, when I get to admire details of each building, and when I am designing.

-When I get to designing, I get put in the zone, I don't think about anything else and I just work.
