In this song, Kid Cudi talks about how drugs and Partying only affected him negatively. This is true in the fact that he suffers from depression and other issues in REAL Life.

We are now in the current era. This has the be the biggest transformation yet. Right now, Hip Hop is one of the most popular genres in the World. In earlier years, this genre was made to let artist express their feelings through their music. Now, the genre has been flooded with artist promoting drugs, sex, and other negative afflictions. Songs can be made with very little to no thought and artist make good money off of it. This song is an example of how the lyricism has been pushed down in songs through the years.

Add a final reflection about what you noticed about the stories through the ages. Has the story changed? In what way? Has the story stayed the same? In what way? Do the different styles of songs tell different stories? How? Why do you think they do or do not? Is there a central theme you see in all your songs?

I have noticed that music has been transformed a lot over the years and this shows that this is only the beginning. In the early 1900s, music was mostly done to represent a part of a specific country or culture. Now, songs are made easily and many known artist are promoting negatives into the system rather than positive. A lot of people like this, but it shows how Hip Hop has changed over the years All of my songs portray a messageand all have been highly recognized in the music community. Although there may be mixed opinions, it is obvious that music as a whole will continue to grow and change.
