It is because he is a famous television presenter and a retired cardio-thoracic surgeon everyone will want to believe him. One of the reasons being he has medical knowledge. But the problem here is there is money involved. He is advertising for a product/company which is going to make him say good things about it. Also, he is getting paid as a television presenter for his work so he will have to act according to the company even if he does not truly believe in it. People do not think about these things they just think it is DR OZ so it must be true and they purchase it and try it to loose weight. As another thing celebrities promote is being skinny. Connection: Rain dance is one of the practices from ancient times that still continues in some parts of the world. The Native Americans performed it to call the spirits and gods to clean the earth with rain. It is believed that if they did the rain dance they will get rain. They were very persistent in the rain dance. The problem with this is that it can cause hydro or even water pump can cause damage within a few turns than Rain dance can end up giving. Just because this practice has been there for such a long time we should not just believe it. There are Unexplained questions like is it really the rain dance that is causing the rain or is there another cause behind it? Why is it believed that rain dance causes damage to the hydro pumps? Connection: Whether we realize it or not confirmation bias plays a huge part in our everyday practices. This picture is a simple example of how confirmation bias is occurring. It states that the individual cannot find the right data just because they have already completed the paper. The flaw in confirmation bias is that we tend to go with what we have already set our mind to belief, we ignore other facts even if they are true.  In this picture, they ignore the fact that it might still be easy to find the right data and just because they do not want to spend more time working on the paper they decide to belief the fact that it is hard.

Connection: Chakra means wheel and it is to the different energy points in our body. The mystical energy in Chakra is that you can pull on many types of energy from different parts of your body. There are seven points. Each one gives you a different type of energy such as root chakra which is the ability to fly, solar chakra which is the ability to shoot powerful solar beams. The flaw with this is that not all the scientific words actually have a proper meaning. For instance, how can a human actually fly? The actual theories behind these chakra's are unexplained. Do Chakra's actually exist? Do they actually give energy? Is there a relation between energy and chakras? How do these chakras/energy affect our physical and mental health? Connection: Covid-19 is a well known topic that all ages have been discussing for the past few years. When Covid-19 outbreak first started in 2019 a lot of information was discussed all over the news, social media, schools, work, etc. It was very overwhelming in the beginning as it was also frightening but eventually public health and the Prime Minister all started providing more information about the virus and also the vaccine. They provided so much information that people believed everything provided was true about the virus and the vaccine. The huge quantity of information provided was too overwhelming that people just started getting vaccines because they thought it was true just because there was a lot of information. The more information provided makes it seem like they have done the research well and they know what they are doing. The problem is that they may not have done a complete research or there might be other long term side effects they may not have found yet or discussed. Though it is just an image of three birds on the sky we try to immediately connect the pattern and identify the image using the patternicity. The problem with this is that each person sees patternicty differently and interpret them differently based on their perception and observation. Connection: The link to agenticity to this image is that people belief angel is a spiritual being which helps God by acting as a messenger between God and human. It is also believed that angels are good, beautiful and kind beings. The problem with this is that no one has seen angels no one knows if they actually exist. Even if they exist no one knows the purpose. This also becomes an unexplained phenomenon, just because we cannot explain it well it is easier to belief it.

Connection: The link to this picture in relation to ideology is that Justin Trudeau makes up the expectations and ideas for the country and because he is the leader of the country it becomes the rule and everyone has to follow it. The mask mandate was one of the rules Trudeau brought up and he took off. Covid-19 spread was the reason he brought it up and he later decided to take the mandate off even when Covid-19 was still present. The problem with this we are blindly following the leader because we have to follow the leader. Some people did not use masks properly because there was lack of education on how to use it. When the mask mandate was lifted some people still wanted to wear them but they did not because they did not want to be the only people wearing it around. For instance, though some kids wanted to wear masks to school they did not want to be the odd ones out. Define Problem: The problem that arose with the mask policy is that people lost their freedom and democracy they had in Canada during Covid-19 because of the ideology created by the Prime Minister.

Gather Information: This picture was taken from the Economictimes news when Justin Trudeau's party was passing the bill C-10. The reason I chose this picture is because it shows the mask mandate and the mask no longer required policy by him holding the mask in his hand. When Justin Trudeau saw the Covid-19 numbers going up he decided to bring the "Mask Mandate" policy and people were not allowed to enter places without masks. Later, when the cases started going down he brought the policy that we are no longer required to wear masks and that the restrictions be taken off from places. People can argue against these because Covid-19 cases have not been eliminated they were just decreasing and they are still there, people are coming across others who are Covid-19 positive so the policy should not have been taken off for many places. Likewise, one would argue the mask mandate took away their freedom, it made it complicated for those with disabilities because they were no longer able to read people's lips, if they have breathing difficulties it was also a problem for them.

Evaluate Evidence: There is evidence that masks help with reducing the droplet spread between people. It helped with the reduction of the spread of Covid-19. There was also evidence that if one wears masks it will reduce the chances of them spreading the virus, likewise reduces the likely hood of them getting the virus. These results can be also be reproduced from various Health Canada websites and other sources. The was scientific research done and methods followed by public health to determine this decision.

Recognize Assumptions, Emotions, Biases: There were a lot of controversies about this topic. People were unhappy about wearing masks, later people were unhappy about taking them off. Many had arguments and strikes about wearing masks and the mandates. There was anti-mask mandate strikes, it was all over the news and social media that some people did not want to wear it. Likewise, once it was lifted some people were unhappy about this because Covid-19 still exists and it can spread to them and their families with low immune system, children, elderly, etc and that people should wear it to avoid the spread of Covid-19. People assumed that Justin Trudeau was making these rules for politics and because he wanted to look like the nice man and to get more votes.

Synthesize Evidence, Identity Alternatives:
Alternative 1 - Covid-19 pandemic should not be a reason to take away people's freedom and make some lives complicated (like those with disabilities or breathing disabilities)
Alternative 2 - Masks mandate should not be lifted when Covid-19 still existed.
Alternative 3 - Masks mandate should have been announced earlier when the case numbers beginning to increase.
Alternative 4 - Covid-19 pandemic rules were about keeping everyone safe so mask mandate was introduced, and about giving some freedom so mask mandate was later lifted when cases reduced but agencies can have their own policy to keep the mandate.

Select Best Alternative:
The focus was not about about freedom, democracy rather about saving people's lives and reducing the spread of virus. It was about keeping the public safe with mask mandate.
