Amanda Boxtel was in a horrible skiing accident 26 years ago, hindering her ability to walk. In 2010, she used a bionic exoskeleton suit, which helped her walk, and she took her first step in 18 years. Boxtel was then motivated to start Bridging Bonics, a non-profit organization based near Aspen, Colorado. The organization, beginning in 2014, gives high-tech physical therapy to people with mobility impairments.
