Why women fight for equal rights?

Basic Information
Men and women are not equal where gender affects an individual's living experience. These differences arise from distinction in biology, psychology, and cultural norms. Some of these types of distinctions are empirically constructed. Gender inequality was all over the world and was supported by everyone, but in the 20th century everything started to change when women got right to vote in 1919. After that, women started to form groups to protest against gender inequality that men superior over women that lasted 50 years until U.S. government passed out laws that gives the same rights to women as men. All these movements created the term feminism which means women movements for equal rights. Still today, women create movements for equal rights to be equal as men are. But because of this, women today have more rights and law protection than men are. For example, if man beats up woman, the man can go to the jail for it. But in all world 1 out of 5 women is being raped by men. This can explain why women want qual rights.

How Inequality is Being Fought

Gender inequality is currently being fought in many ways, such as speeches, which inspire people; protests, which raise awareness; and big-name celebrities bringing attention to the issue, whether it be through interviews, social media, or the news. Some countries passes new laws or already passed to protect women's rights. Actually, laws give a lot of fighting and protection to women against inequality. If man would do something serious to the woman, the man would stand in court and answer all the actions he did. Also, some organisations are trying to provide emotional and physiological help to those who got effected by brutal gender inequality affects.

The possibility to get people's attention to gender inequality is to post information about it to the media and talk about it in the news, but there are not enough actions taken to equal the gender because in some laws and countries women even got or have more rights than men have. I think that people of all genders should get more interest in it to accomplish all each others wills.
