         <description><![CDATA[<div>Two weeks before Winter Break we discussed the phenomena of a blood moon.  Blood moons happen during a lunar eclipse.  But, why?  Why does the moon appear to be red in color?  That's the question we will be asking ourselves during this lesson.  You will spend some time gathering information from video clips and discussion question.  Afterwards, you will be asked to write a paragraph on what you know. Every night, look for the Moon in the sky. Maybe you see it from your window, or go outside with an adult to look for it. Every night, draw what the Moon looks like, and put the date.
