Today I learned... The importance of the arts in the culture of society and in transmitting knowledge from generation to generation.

I visited a space with enormous multiculturalism, where customs, habits and values are exposed through the arts, these have a significant weight in giving us feedback, and above all being with us and with others...

Today I learned… that cultural diversity is of utmost importance in different aspects of society. It refers to the presence and interaction of different cultures, traditions, values, languages, beliefs and practices within a community or in a more global context.

I visited the center of Pointe-à-Pitre with its multiplicity of cultural expressions of Street Art and an unfinished Cultural Center where artistic agents/artists express their multiplicity of perspectives on the world around them through various forms of art.

In short, I learned that cultural diversity is dynamic and essential for the enrichment of society, promoting tolerance, respect, innovation, economic growth, the preservation of cultural heritage, peace, sustainable development and the strengthening of cultural identity. Therefore, it is essential to value and promote cultural diversity in our communities and in the world as a whole.

Culture has a sgnificant role in shaping individual and collective identities. Itˋs something you can learn and is a dynamic process, very important for promoting cross cultural understanding. Today, visiting Pointe-à- Pitre, that was what we learn. That the the knowledge of a peopleˋs culture, heritage, their slavery strong history, influences the way they live, their values, identity, art, and daily life in various ways... Culture is knowledge.

Today I learned ... culture is the expression of the identity and way of life of a group of people, reflecting their values, traditions, and knowledge. It plays a fundamental role in our understanding of the world and in human relationships.

Culture is dynamic and subject to changes over time, influenced by factors such as migration, globalization, technology, and intercultural interactions.

It is important to recognize that cultures can also overlap and blend, creating rich synergies and cultural diversities.

During today's visit to the city of Pointe-à-Pitre, I observed various artistic expressions evident in street art and the city's cultural center.

I could see that the culture of Guadeloupe is deeply influenced by its history of slavery, which has shaped the ways of life on the island

Culture shapes the way people think, behave and relate to each other, providing a common identity for human communities.

When visiting the city of Pointe-à-Pitre and its multiple cultural expressions, I was able to feel the pulsating energy of the local culture and the dynamics of its people. Its inhabitants carry with them the memory of the injustices and oppression suffered during the years of slavery. However, this painful history is also an essential part of their cultural identity. Today I learned that this community's various artistic forms, music and cultural traditions are a form of resilience and cultural expression in this community.
